Yep,

Wish i had the available time to hang-out all day at the forum and listen to music, at best an hour each day and this being a rather lengthy evening the listening spanned the course of an entire weekend.

Joan Baez new song in her set "The Children of the 80's" is somewhat corny but musically it comes across driven by the conga back rhythm of her then boyfriend Mickey Hart. When the music is inspired there's always a link to share.

Have you listened to the Red Rocks 07/08/78 performance recently?

:)

Is Kochman being controversial again? Why use this title for this post?

The Occupy Wall Street Movement - documented by our brothers and sisters

Re: The Clintons and Obama
Bill Clinton is a Draft Dodger! - Bill Clinton's Draft Letter

• Hillary Clinton is The U.S. Secretary of State. Clinton's office is Occupied by Wall Street!

The other day Naomi Klein said, Wall Street is occupying the U.S. Government. It seems from these [Occupy Wall Street] demonstrations, obviously there is a connection. I think what’s driving people to the streets in New York and around the country now, in the occupy together movement and moment, is the realization that change is not going to come through the ballot box because the political process has been bought and paid for. One thing that I find so inspiring about this moment, and I say this of both the Keystone XL protests and the Occupy Wall Street protest, is that my biggest fear about the Obama Presidency was that it was going to lead this generation of young people into political cynicism and political apathy, because you saw such tremendous hopes raised in 2008 and so many young people really drove that campaign, knocking on doors and sleeping on floors for Obama.

Many of us saw the betrayals coming. And they have come, in climate, more than any other area, but also just in the failure to provide hope for this generation. And they could be retreating into cynicism and apathy. But, instead of retreating into cynicism and apathy they are going to where the power is. They’re realizing that the change is not coming in Washington because politicians are so controlled by corporate interests, and that is the fundamental crisis in this country. And that’s what’s so profound about this. But, in terms of those emails, it’s just an illustration of it. So, you have Paul Elliott who was Deputy Campaign Director for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, gets hired by TransCanada, which is the company that is building—-wants to build this pipeline from the Alberta Tar Sands to Texas to carry a very dirty form of oil. Tar sands oil emits three times as much greenhouse gases as a regular barrel of Canadian crude, because, of course, it is in solid form. So, you have to use all of this energy to get it out and liquefy it and then to put it into that pipeline. So, it’s very controversial. They know it’s controversial because there’s a huge international movement against the tar sands.

Europe is working very hard to ban the tar sands oil and there’s a very good chance that oil, carried to Texas, wouldn’t actually go into the U.S. market; that much of it would be exported to Europe or Latin America. It’s going to an export port. So, they know they have to fight ahead of them, so, they hire Paul Elliott, Hillary Clinton’s campaign director, to be their lobbyist. And this is key because it’s a Canadian company and a Canadian project. It doesn’t go through congress. The approval goes through the State department. The State Department has to issue a certificate of national interest. So they’re very, very smart. They hire Paul Elliott as their lobbyist, who’s friends with everybody at the State department. And that Friends of the Earth got copies of these emails, and they show this outrageously cozy relationship where literally, you have somebody—-that email comes from somebody in the U.S. Consulate in Ottawa. And Paul Elliott is informing her, her name is Martha [Marja] Verloop, that he has gotten Max Baucus, Senator Baucus, on side for the Keystone pipeline project, which was a major political coup. And she writes back, "Go Paul!" So, literally cheerleading him. The response of the state department was, "Well, we meet with environmentalists, too."

Barak Obama never served in The Military. Barack Obama has said he considered joining the United States military when he left school but decided not to because the Vietnam war was over and "we weren't engaged in an active military conflict at that point". As Commander-In-Chief, Obama escalated the War in Afghanistan. The Afghan War Has No End in Sight

ACORN Behind Occupy Wall Street Protest

Last Updated: Wed, 10/05/2011 - 3:06pm
A famously corrupt leftist community organization with deep ties to President Barack Obama is largely behind the national movement to “end economic segregation” and social injustice in the United States.

Best known as Occupy Wall Street, the rowdy protests have received quite a bit of mainstream media coverage around the world. Besides New York, disruptive marches have been held in other major U.S. cities such as Los Angeles, Seattle, Miami and Boston and more are scheduled in the coming days.

Among the goals is to get major banks to stop preying on the poor and people of color, according to the organizer of a Boston offshoot of an Occupy Wall Street rally. The event, promoted as Take Back Boston, was organized by dozens of local community groups that claim big banks have a pattern of pushing “bad loans on people of color and the poor.” As a result of the “predatory lending,” foreclosures have skyrocketed in urban communities, the organizers say.

Among the Take Back Boston organizers is a spinoff of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). Amid a massive fraud scandal and a series of criminal probes, ACORN supposedly dismantled but the reality is that it simply changed its name. In fact, Judicial Watch recently published a special report (“The Rebranding of ACORN”) about the organization’s transformation into various spinoffs and affiliated groups.

In this particular case, ACORN’s Boston office simply rebranded into New England United 4 Justice. Same crooked group with the same general mission and president, but a different name. Headed by Maude Hurd, the former president of ACORN and ACORN Housing, New England United 4 Justice promotes “social justice” for “low and moderate income families.” The group also seeks to educate the general public about social justice issues and the needs of poor and middle class families.

This sort of rebranding has allowed ACORN to skirt a 2009 congressional ban on federal funding, consequence of its many transgressions. A few months ago a Judicial Watch investigation found the Obama Administration gave an ACORN reincarnation called Affordable Housing Centers of America (AHCOA) a $79,819 grant to “combat housing and lending discrimination.”

Not particularly, I just don't waste much of my time worrying about them. ACORN is a distraction.

Controversial, moi?

Think about it, from a strictly political standpoint the Obama witch hunt that began over two years ago by the not so infamous "Tea Party" and the entire Republican rosters of both the House and Senate has the President using language such as "underdog", his top campaign strategist David Axelrod stating the 2012 campaign is a "titanic struggle" and big mouth Joe Biden declaring in an interview over the weekend; "oh sure, the Republican party is strong enough to beat the President in 2012".

When announcing the passage of ObamaCare, one can still hear Joe Biden stating to the President on stage, open mic, "this is a big fucking deal!" and that embarrassed look on Obamas face. If you had watched the recent State of the Union - Jobs Act speech you would have witnessed Jill Biden and Michelle Obama sitting next to each other in the balcony with rather large frowns on their respective faces, the tension is obvious. This administration has kept Biden on a short leash for most of the first term, and to that end, my point is simple, Biden is dispensable.

Therefore, to strengthen the parties chances of re-election, adding the global popularity of Hillary Clinton and her vast political experience to the ticket makes perfect sense. This move would also provide Clinton a stronger platform for her ultimate goal in 2016.

In terms of what exactly is driving this crazy "Occupy" movement in the streets today, one can only wonder, but i might be inclined and stoop to a little suspicion from a strictly objective standpoint mind you.

Monte, you disappoint me, I thought you were above all the petty juvenile Kochaballo nonsense, guess I was mistaken. Every word I have written at the Forum is the truth.
